TYPES OF CEREMONIES WE OFFER:
Please note: We are NOT registered to conduct Same Sex Marriages.

1. Civil Ceremony
A Civil ceremony is one that is conducted without any relation to or mention of anything religious. It follows the same general order of service, but all religious connotations, such as readings and blessings are substituted with non-religious options.

2. Religious Ceremony
A religious ceremony does not need to be "preachy". An appropriate reading from the Bible or other Sacred writings along with seeking God's blessing on your marriage, would constitute a religious ceremony. Prayers and hymns may also form part of a religious ceremony.

3. Blessing
A Blessing is an option that combines both civil and religious elements. You may opt not to have any prayers or hymns in this type of ceremony, but still want the approach to be that of a slightly religious nature.

4. Spiritual Ceremony
A spiritual ceremony would be for couples who believe in a "Higher Power". A combination of the above ceremonies could be used, including readings from great writings like: The Prophet, Neale Donald Walsh, Shakespeare, Donne, etc

5. Inter-faith Ceremony
Often, couples find that they come from different backgrounds and neither have any objection to incorporating elements and "rituals" from the other's faith. Eg: Jewish/Christian, Muslim/Christian, Catholic/Christian
Anything that you want to incorporate can be done. Your marriage officer will advise you on what works best and which elements will add a sense of richness to your ceremony. Nobody needs to feel uncomfortable.

6. Renewal of Vows Ceremony
Renewal of Vows has become very popular for couples who have reached milestones in their married life i.e. 10, 20, 25, 30 and 50 years.

However, we find at so many of our wedding ceremonies that married couples are touched by the message and how much it reminds them of their own loving commitments and relationships.

Sometimes we have found that a couple will want to renew their vows after they have been through a really tough time or a very traumatic period.

Whatever the reason, it is so special to be part of a recommitment ceremony, years later when the couple now know each other so well and still want to reaffirm the commitment they made so long ago.

OTHER TYPES OF SERVICES WE OFFER

1. Christening / Baptism / Dedication / Naming Ceremonies
A second celebration we love to share with couples is the christening of their children. Our approach to christenings is unique focussing mainly on the roles and responsibilities each person plays in the child's life i.e. Parents, God-Parents, Grand Parents, Family and Friends
It is a special time of acknowledgement and appreciation for the incredible gift that God gives to families as we spend about 15-20 minutes really focussing on raising children and how special they really are, how much potential they have and how we can play a role in them reaching that potential in life.

2. Funeral / Commital / Memorial Services
Unfortunately death is part of life and sooner or later we are all touched by it. Loosing a loved one is traumatic to say the least and a time when you need the love of people who really want to be there for you.
In as much as we already have a bond with the family, often we are asked to be part of a funeral or memorial service as well. Again our approach is unique, choosing to focus on a Celebration of Life , a time to recognize what a privilege it was to be part of that persons life in the first place and remember all the things they taught us.
